Grown up in Kiel, North Germany nearby the Baltic Sea, she got her first camera when she was nine years old. Since then she has been fascinated by observing and capturing moments and moods. Since ever interested in the influence of different environments, spaces and materials on people and the relationship between them.

After a professional education as an advertising photographer and assisting time Jelena is working for different clients as a freelance photographer, specialized in interior, fashion and people photography.
